We have always followed the principle that we can dye yarn and do it in a way that leaves the smallest footprint possible.

We are committed to “green” and sustainable operations.

DYE WASTE REUSE

Ronile’s Dye Waste Reuse System was awarded the 1996 Virginia Governor’s Environmental Excellence Award. 

RECYCLING

We recycled over 290 tons of materials in the past year including yarn, cardboard and plastic.

REDUCING WASTE

  • We continue to search for ongoing energy efficiency, waste reduction and recycling efforts.

  • We installed 360 LED lights in our manufacturing facility and offices saving 711,400 KwH annually.

  • Reducing waste saves on raw material and supply costs.  

SUSTAINABILITY

  • We partnered with D.O.E. on an Energy Efficiency Study.

  • Ronile converted to a Biomass Energy System in 2006.

  • We remodeled our steamers and optimized steam distribution system to minimize energy usage

  • Reducing energy consumption lowers variable and fixed costs.

CLEAN WATER

We operate our own Wastewater Treatment Plant under U.S. E.P.A. National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit with 3 Licensed Operators.

GOOD FOR PEOPLE

We are Oeko-Tex® certified for our non-toxic dyeing of acrylic yarns.

GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
